PLL Youth Sixes League

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and the Minnesota Athletic Club (MAC) proudly present a unique offering – The PLL Youth Sixes League! Following the widely praised PLL Championship Series, young lacrosse enthusiasts statewide will join forces to partake in an Olympic-style lacrosse experience, featuring a novel 6-on-6 game format. In the "Sixes" league, all players wield short sticks and function as midfielders, maneuvering across the entire field. Catering to boys and girls, from kindergarten through eighth grade, our PLL Youth Sixes League boasts divisions categorized as 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, aligning with the USA Lacrosse Age Chart(s).

All Boys or Girls (10U) - 8th Grade (14U) players are welcome.
Games
FALL LEAGUE
Games will be broken down into four 10 min quarters, with a 5 min warm up, 5 min halftime and 2 min intermissions with 6 min allotted for OT. Equating to 1 hour games.

Fall League Registration NOW OPEN!
The PLL Juniors Fall League Sixes schedule is still being developed in an effort to accommodate as many youth association practices as possible. Games will be on weeknights.
League Dates:
- Combine/Eval morning of August 3rd
- Games August 5th - September 28th
(no games the week of Labor Day)
- Youth Upper Boys- 1 game a week; Monday 7pm-9pm
- Youth Upper Girls- 1 game a week: Tuesday 7pm-9pm
- Youth Lower Boys- 1 game a week: Wednesday 7pm-9pm
- Youth Lower Girls- 1 game a week: Thursday 7pm-9pm
Season
During the course of the season, teams will engage in a round-robin format, competing against the other seven teams once each. This regular season will span a total of seven weeks. Followed by an all-star game, and a 4 team playoff bracket.
Boys and Girls- Fourteen years old is the age cap for the youth league with 9 year old athletes being the youngest (exceptions at the discretion of the MAC staff.)
Youth Upper: 12, 13, and 14 year old athletes.
Youth Lower: 9, 10, and 11 year old athletes.
Jerseys
Exclusive to MAC in collaboration with PLL, and featuring the official jersey designed for the Best Lacrosse Players in the World, Champion® Sportswear is designing and supplying each athlete with an official youth jersey from one of the eight teams.
Where
All games are scheduled to take place on our purpose-built field, exclusively designed for the Sixes format, known as The MAC!
RULES + FORMAT
The games will adhere to a modified Sixes style of play, incorporating elements from both the World Lacrosse Sixes rulebook and incorporating slight adjustments inspired by PLL SIXES and The MAC's Hybrid field.
FEE
$179 Individual Registration
Register as an individual and request teammates during the registration process. MAC + PLL will make every effort to honor teammate requests.
Coaches can register full teams.
